Dear Geremew,

Microzonation.ft file is a binary file built by the R-CRISIS Technical Team, however, if you desire to know the format of it, you may look for R-CRISIS Help Menu -> Site effects.

If you have any doubt about it, do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your preference and interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,

 Dear R-Crisis Team,

I have seen R-CRISIS Help Menu -> Site effects. In what format to develop the  the amplification factor is mentioned . But there is no clue on the R-CRISIS help by which we can make the binary '.ft' of the developed format.

Dear Geremew,

I am aware that binary file format is not explained in detail in the R-CRISIS Help Menu and it might generate misunderstandings; we are already working on that. For that reason, R-CRISIS Technical Team is disposed to provide you support with these files conversion. Please, build the files in .txt format following the instructions contained in R-CRISIS Help Menu and the article mentioned in a previous post (Huerta, Ordaz & Reinoso, 2011), and send them to us to r-crisis@ern.com.mx. Afterwards, we will return them in a format readable by R-CRISIS.

On behalf of whole R-CRISIS Team, I apologize for the problems this may caused to you.

We will be looking forward to your e-mail.

Thank you for your preference and interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,
