Hello everyone,

I am very new with using R-Crisis, as I have been using EZ-FRISK to date, but was requested by peer reviewers to switch softwares for my project in Seattle, W.A. EZ-FRISK did not seem to produce similar results to the ones the USGS 2014 hazard maps are showing so we were advised to switch to a different software. I am conducting a PSHA using the USGS (2014) for a site in Seattle and would need to account for the basin effects of the region as well. I was wondering if anyone has a database with the seismic sources and intensities for this region (particularly the Seattle Fault and the Cascadia Subduction Zone). I feel a bit lost using the software and would appreciate any advice/guidelines on how to proceed with my analysis.

Thank you!

Dear MrMercer,

The R-CRISIS Technical Team only provide support to users about using the software. We do not have datasets to share, the only one is the CAPRA Island Dataset (available in http://www.r-crisis.com/knowledge/watchlearn/) which is an hypothetical example to show the users the most relevant features of the program. Maybe other users could share with you such dataset you are requesting.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any doubt about using the program.

Best regards,
