Hi R-CRISIS team,

I built a model with R-CRISIS version 18.2 and I am trying to open it with version 18.3, but I get a error message related to BSSA13 attenuation model (see next figure).

What can I do to solve it?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

This type of error message is due to a compatibility problem with Boore et al (2014) attenuation model, however, here is detailed how to solve it:

1. Look for *.DAT file you are trying to load.

2. Open it with any text editor.

3. Look for line (or lines) in which Crisis2008.NGA2013.BSSA13 appears.

4. Apply these modifications:

"XX": none modifications needed. Keep them in the same way.

5. Save changes and reload *.DAT file in R-CRISIS. Problem should be solved.

We hope this is helpful.

Thank you for your interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,

Hi

There is something wrong with Boore et al. 2014 (NGA2) reverse-slip relation which give very high values. Would you please check this relation and correct it.

Many Thanks

M.Behnam
