Hello R-Crisis Team

It seems that R-CRISIS does not allow importing a .shp file while defining the source geometry. This feature was available in CRISIS2007. How can this be done on R-CRISIS?
Also, can the .dat file created with the input data before the final computation in CRISIS2007 is compatible to be used with R-CRISIS as well?

for example in CRISIS2007..

Dear Arka,

R-CRISIS, as CRISIS2007, is capable to import a *.shp file to ease the sources definition. This is no longer in the "Source geometry data" menu, now, it is located in "File -> Add source data from shape" menu. Besides, in the same menu you will find the option to export the existing sources as a *.shp file.

On the other hand, a *.dat file created by CRISIS2007 can be loaded by R-CRISIS without any problems. We have tried to keep compatibility along all software releases. If you have any problem loading a model created by earlier version, please, contact us and we will give you support.

Thank you for your interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,
