Dear Luis Fernando,
As you could noted, R-CRISIS has two BC-Hydro models. Both were added to R-CRISIS in 2012, back then, the respective paper was pending of approval by the journal. It was not until 2016 when it was approved by Earthquake Spectra [DOI: 10.1193/051712EQS188MR]. Next, differences between two models are briefly explained:
- BC Hydro: it is a particular case of BC-Hydro model in which neither Vs30 site effects nor DC1 values recommended by authors are considered.
- BC Hydro modified: it is exactly the model explained in the paper, this includes both Vs30 site effects and DC1 values for Interface earthquakes based on residual analysis of the Maule and Tohoku earthquakes.
Be sure both models are correctly built according to the respective paper.
In a following release of R-CRISIS, short name of these models will be updated.
Thank you for your interest in R-CRISIS.
Best regards,
