What are the units of the "Median value of the time between characteristic earthquakes"? for the characteristic distribution? Years?

Also, in the slip rate output box we do not get meaningful number (appears as "NaN"). we would expect it should change with response to different values of the "median time".

Dear R-CRISIS user,

Effectively, the units of the "Median value of the time between characteristic earthquakes" are years.

Regarding the slip rate, I just have noticed the "Compute Moment rate" button is not working correctly, I will immediately address this issue to the programming team. Despite of that, the slip rate varies if you change the value of the "median time". For that, change the median time value, close the window (without clicking on the "Compute Moment rate" button), open again the "Seismicity data" window. Below, you may find an example of this:

1. Original seismicity parameters:

2. Changing the "median time" value:

3. Closing the window (do not click on the "Compute Moment rate" button):

4. Opening it again:

As can you see, the slip rate changed.

On behalf of whole R-CRISIS Team, I apologize for the problems this may caused to you.

Thank you for your preference and interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,
