A *.LTC file is just a text file in which are indicated models, with their respective weights, that are going to be considered in the Logic Tree Calculation. To build a new Logic Tree file, you may click on Logic tree calculations icon:

Once there, you can add as much branches as you require by clicking in Add branch icon:

When you finish building the Logic Tree Calculation, you are able to save it as a *.LTC file, which can be called again by clicking on Open LTC file icon located in the same program window:

For more detailed information about Logic Tree and its calculation, you may look for this topic in R-CRISIS Help Menu.

Dear Duan,

You do not have to worry about the logical tree file format. In this same publication, we briefly explain how to build the logical tree and how to save it as an * .LTC file. Please, see above how to add branches and how to save your file, which can be loaded later.

Thank you for your interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,

Dear Duan,

In the context of R-CRISIS, each branch of a logic tree is formed by one data file (i.e. a model previously built) along with a measure of the degree of belief that the analyst has on each of the branches being the "true" one. Therefore, this tool allows construction of the logic tree by way of informing R-CRISIS which *.dat files form the branches of the tree and what weight is assigned to each of the branches.

In other words, first, you have to build the models which will form each branch, and later, you will be able to build the logic tree and to evaluate it.

For more information, you may look for Logic Tree topic in the R-CRISIS Help Menu.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Thank you for your interest in R-CRISIS.

Best regards,
