How can I define the “Maximum integration distance” value and what is its influence in the PSHA?

This parameter, RMAX, means those sources which their centroids are located further than RMAX will be ignored in the PSHA. For example, if RMAX=500 km, sources with distance between itself and site of interest greater than 500 km, will not be considered for the PSHA. The reason is because greater exceedance rates would be obtained for small values of acceleration, something directly related to the GMPE’s.
